Winning Entries

Transportation Alternatives is pleased to announce three winning entries for "Designing the 21st Century Street," an open design competition that challenged entrants to safely accommodate pedestrians, bicyclists, transit, trucks and cars at the intersection of 4th Avenue and 9th Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

Honorable Mention

The jury awarded an honorable mention to "A 21st Century Plan for 4th Avenue and 9th Street" by Mark Anders for reorganizing and reprioritizing space to better support all people who use the street, whether by foot, bicycle, bus or motor vehicle.

Transportation Alternatives Staff Choice
